All of our instructors are thoroughly vetted with a background check and undergo an extensive amount of training and development with our Star Certified Instructor Program (SCIP). This program is in place to ensure that all of our customers safety and excellent service.

All of our instructors are musically inclined, with over 10 years of experience. Most of them have studied and earned a higher educational music degree as well as performed all over the world.

We never expect you to pay for a lesson that you aren’t satisfied with. After your trial lesson, if you are not satisfied, please contact [email protected], so we can set you up with a new instructor.

That’s great to hear! Our instructors always appreciate it if you mention their name in a positive review on our Google, Yelp or Facebook pages.

Some of our instructors limit the number of students so they can work to ensure they have enough time to dedicate to each student. If you cannot find another instructor that looks like a good fit, please email [email protected] and we can reach out to your desired instructor.

As an active student, you can reschedule or cancel your lesson anytime online by logging into your student app. If you are a trial student, you will need to use the calendar email that was sent to you when you booked the lesson or email us at [email protected]

In certain cases, we are able to waive the late cancellation fees for emergencies. Please text or call 855-424-3444 as soon as possible to let us know or sends us an email at [email protected]

If you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson, we require at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid late cancellation fees. As an active student, you can reschedule or cancel your lesson anytime online by logging into your student app. If you are a trial student, you will need to use the calendar email that was sent to you when you booked the lesson or email us at [email protected]

After choosing a teacher and purchasing a lesson, all you need is a computer, tablet or phone with a built-in microphone and webcam, your instrument of choice, and that's it!

 After booking a trial lesson, you will be sent a link that connects you with your teacher at the scheduled time with two clicks.

If you are an active student, you would just log into your student app and join in at your scheduled time.

Although there are some differences, multiple studies on distance learning, including a study from UNC, have shown that students are 36% more focused and perform 22% better when compared to in-person lessons. We also take advantage of Zoom’s High Fidelity Music Mode, which was developed in partnership with Yale School of Music. This ensures that your teacher can hear every detail of your playing during each lesson.

Each student should have their own lesson time booked in the calendar to ensure the teacher can create lesson plans for each student. In general, you can schedule lessons up to 1 year in advance

Our instructors generally require that you schedule a lesson with at least a 24 hours notice. That means that you should be able to have a lesson as soon as tomorrow!

The easiest way to book regular lessons is to click a Book Now button and complete the registration form and choose an instructor/ instrument and date and time that works best for you.

Generally, each student is allowed to take one trial lesson per instrument. If you were not satisfied with your first trial lesson or would like to try out another instructor before making your decision, you ARE allowed to book an additional trial lesson with another instructor at the 50% off rate.

Choose the Instructor that you are interested and click "Book a Trial". This will allow you to schedule based on the instructor's availability.

You can pause or cancel a subscription at any time by logging into your student app and simply stop by clicking the “change/cancel” button in your account. 

If you have any trouble, you can email [email protected] 24 hours before the next billing date, and we can ensure it gets canceled for you.

Lesson credits never expire and roll over each month into a student portal bank lessons.

Yes! Once you complete the initial registration form you will be able to choose a day and time that works best for you. Your monthly lessons are automatically scheduled at that same time every week.

If you need to change your weekly scheduled time as an active student, simply log into the student app and check your instructors' open slots and choose the one that works best for you. If you're not able to find an available time that works best for you, you could simply send a message to your instructor in the messenger app. Having trouble? Simply email us at [email protected]

If you are unsatisfied with your trial lesson, we can provide a refund. We cannot provide refunds, however, subscription plans. Any unused lessons will be banked into your account until they are scheduled and used.

We are unable to refund unused subscriptions plan. If you accidentally schedule a lesson, please email [email protected], and we can get it credited back to your student account.

If an instructor cancels a lesson, you can reschedule that lesson free of charge.

If you cancel a lesson at least 24 hours prior to the lesson, you will receive a credit back to your account to use anytime. 

Any lessons that are canceled outside of the 24 hour window without any prior notification will automatically be forfeited.

After you log in to your student app, you will see all of your upcoming lessons as well as any subscription plans on your account.

If you forgot your password, you can reset it by clicking the login button then “reset my password”

You can log in to your account by clicking the log in/Current Student button on the top right corner of your browser.

OR, if you have downloaded the app, you can login on the student app.

You will automatically receive a login username and password set up email for the student app once you complete the initial registration form.
